The Suspects are happy to announce the return of vocalist Chris Kendrick.

Chris was The Suspects original singer from the start of the band in 1993 up until his departure in early 1996. Chris is who you hear on The Suspects first CD, Ninety-Nine Paid, as well as on the “Bad One” and “Caffeine” seven-inch singles. We are thrilled to have Chris join us again, and we know his talent, commanding stage presence, and positive energy will make for some amazing performances that Houston audiences will not want to miss.

Chris steps back into the band to replace outgoing vocalist Thomas Escalante. Thomas joined The Suspects immediately after Chris Kendrick left the band in 1996, and can be heard on all of the recordings produced by the band from 1997 through 2009. After the breakup of The Suspects in 2002, Thomas was the primary instigator of the 2007 and 2008 reunion shows that led to the subsequent reformation of the band. Thomas made the decision to separate from The Suspects in January of 2015.

The Suspects will be performing at Walters Downtown on Saturday, June 13 2015.

Welcome Back, Chris Kendrick
